Chris Myers became the President/CEO of Professional Alternatives, LLC, in October, 2000 after starting Credit Alternatives in August, 1998 and building it into nation’s largest staffing firm that specializes exclusively in consulting and staffing for the commercial credit and collections industry. During his tenure, Professional Alternatives has amassed an impressive team of top industry performers, consistently outperformed its competition and is widely recognized as one of the premier organizations in its industry.
Chris previously worked in the credit industry for 7 years, and his diverse background includes credit and collections management, call center management, sales management and human resources. Chris received his BBA from Texas A&M University, and his MBA from Houston Baptist University.
He has been a member of NACM of South Texas for the last 11 years, served on the Board of Directors for 6 years, the Business Credit Services Board of Directors for 3 years and is a past Chairman of the Board. He was selected as the 2003 NACM of South Texas Credit Executive of the Year and his company was awarded the 2006 NACM of South Texas Excellence in Credit Award. In 2008, Chris was elected to serve as a Southern Region Director for the National Board of NACM, which is the governing body of the 20,000 member organization.
Chris lived in the Dallas area until moving to Houston thirteen years ago. He and his wife, Kelli, have two sons and a daughter.

Joe Rutherford, CPA

Joe Rutherford has over 25 years of experience in accounting management, and has a very diversified background working in multiple industries, including: defense/aerospace, security, data processing and staffing. Joe also worked internationally for a major aerospace company in Iran, followed by subsequent assignments in Dallas/Ft. Worth and Houston.
Joe is a native of Amarillo, Texas and a graduate of West Texas A&M University in Canyon, Texas where he received his Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Accounting. Joe received his Certified Public Accountant license in the State of Texas in 1982.
Joe currently resides in Houston with his wife, Kathie.
James Criswell

James has seventeen years of staffing industry experience in sales and sales management. He has a background in selling to both large and small companies, whose needs vary from IT to accounting professionals, as well as office, clerical and administrative professionals.
James is a graduate of the University of Houston, a native Houstonian, and has been married for 19 years. In addition to spending time with his wife and two children, James also enjoys golf and hunting.
Rodney Schwab

Prior to joining Credit Alternatives, Rodney spent eight years in the credit and collection industry, holding positions with Citibank and The Associates. Rodney has developed a large network of Credit and Collection professionals within public and private companies including manufacturing, distribution, telecommunications, medical, and the oil/gas and energy market.
During his tenure with Credit Alternatives, he has assisted hundreds of clients in identifying critical team members to reach their growth milestones. Rodney maintains not only a strong network of clients in the credit industry, he posses a strong network of Credit and Collection candidates and is responsible in assisting them in finding ways to leverage their careers and bring a high degree of value to their respective employers.
Rodney attended Texas Tech University and is a member of NACM Houston. In addition, Rodney enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 daughters, watching his kids play softball/volleyball, exercising, Bible study and rooting for the Dallas Cowboys!
Sue Bragg

Sue has over thirty years of staffing industry experience placing exceptional candidates in all areas of Corporate Administration and Property Management in both temporary and direct-hire capacities. She has worked for both local and national staffing companies. Sue has spent the last 11 years with Office Alternatives.
Jeff Mason

Jeff Mason brings over 9 years experience in the staffing industry, with 6 years focused on the Mortgage Industry. He developed the mortgage niche that has grown into Mortgage Alternatives. Jeff has extensive experience in working with clients to grow and develop their sales staff and has helped over 250 mortgage professionals take the next step in their career.
He is involved in the Texas Mortgage Bankers Association and currently works on the membership committee. He is a 3 time Premier Performer and a winner of the Pinnacle Award. Jeff and his wife April are native Houstonians and currently reside in Sienna Plantation.
