Job Title: Customer Service Specialist 
Duration: Temp-to-Hire, start ASAP
Hours: Mon-Fri 8a-5p, may have OT

Our client handles about 300 on-demand pick-up and deliveries in the Houston area per day. They need a strong customer service professional to join the team. The chosen candidate will be dependable, reliable and nimble.


  • Take orders from customers via phone and email- Receive and process phone and email orders
    • Ask customer questions to determine requirements:
      • Size of vehicle
      • Time frame (how fast)
      • TSA certification needed – to deliver to airport
      • Any other special requirements for delivery
  • Coordinate with dispatchers to:
    • Confirm driver availability to meet customer requirements
    • Adjust with customer based on dispatcher feedback
  • Data entry of order into dispatch system

Must haves include:

  • Fast and accurate typing (minimum of 35 wpm) – very important!
  • Telephone skills – answering and talking with clients
  • Team environment – must be able to work closely with team members
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with excellent multi-tasking abilities and problem solving skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills with experience communicating with clients
  • Composing emails to clients and vendors
  • Knowledge of airport codes is helpful, but not required

Pay Rate to18$ hour depending on experience and qualifications
