Regional Account Manager – 2 openings
Direct Hire; 60K base (75K to 100K first year)
South Houston – 77058
**Surge protection or power quality experience a plus
**Will inherit, manage, and grow existing account and then expand footprint in the US/Canada
Duties:
- Develop revenue and market presence across various industries by selling into target/key accounts in a specific geographic region
- Identify, develop, and pursue sales opportunities with direct equipment manufacturers, original equipment manufacturers (OEM)/control panel builders, distribution sales channels, consulting engineers, and end-users
- Work with customers, partners, and team members to satisfy strategic and performance goals of the territory
- Perform professional technical presentations in-person and virtually
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business management and/or electrical engineering REQUIRED
- 3-5 years of sales, engineering, and/or product management experience
- Microsoft Office and CRM experience; PowerPoint presentation experience a MUST
- Fluency in basic electrical fundamentals; able to read and understand electrical drawings and specifications
- Understand product specification, product life cycles, and project bidding process
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; team player, collaborative, and positive
- Self-motivated and organized; proactive, resourceful, and passionate
