Bilingual Human Resources Generalist
Direct Hire; up to 85K
Kingwood, TX
**MUST be bilingual in English and Spanish
**MUST live close to the Kingwood area
**PRIMARILY an in-office position
Duties:
- Administer, implement, and improve human resources policies, procedures, and processes to meet organizational needs and comply with local and national laws and regulations
- Ensure employee related documentation and records are processed and maintained
- Support, coordinate, and implement full cycle talent attraction activities; ensure hiring practices are compliant
- Deliver onboarding process for new employees; facilitate pre-employment checks, testing, and associated documentation; conduct new hire orientations
- Manage separation process and related documentation, conduct exit interviews, and reduce turnover if appropriate
- Coach and educate staff on HR topics – recruitment, employee relations, employee development, performance management, and conflict resolution
- Support leadership in building and scaling HR functions, systems, and processes to support business goals; facilitate change, workforce planning, and organizational design
- Assist with internal investigations and make recommendations to management on employee-related issues; investigate accidents and prepare reports; represent company at personnel related hearings and investigations
- Deliver and administer comp programs; participate in annual wage and salary surveys; analyze data and make recommendations to establish fair market value of jobs
- Organize and conduct employee training programs; support with special projects; serve as backup on payroll and HRIS administration
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related preferred; PHR or SHRM certification preferred
- 5+ years’ experience in Human Resources and oil and gas industry experience helpful; will support employees in US/Canada
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite, Applicant Tracking Systems, and diverse HRMS program exp.
- Recruiting and onboarding skills, and local and national regulatory and legal requirements
- Proficiency in HR sub-functions – employment law, compensation, benefits, talent management, and employee relations
- Strengths in coaching, communication, presentation, organization, and project management
- High integrity and discretion in handling confidential information
- Interact with and resolve conflict among individuals from a variety of cultures and disciplines, at times under stressful circumstances
- Recommend processes and procedures to implement functional strategies
- Prioritize and complete multiple projects on schedule and within budget; problem-solver
