Dispatcher Needed ASAP 

TTH NW Sam Houston Race Park Location  

8-5 with some OT  

To 20$ hourly

Must have great communication skills!  

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Required Skills/Qualifications: HOT SHOT / SAME DAY / AIR FREIGHT DISPATCH EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED 

• Possess and apply strong organization skills including: urgency and consistency to meet Customers on-time service delivery requirements ·  

• Utilize customer driver computer systems and technology to monitor and track delivery routes, with ability to adjust at-will to meet deadlines 

• Must have high attention to detail and consistently follow up on issues or delivery exceptions with drivers when required 

• May be required to maintain rotating schedule of drivers to meet 7-day work schedule and insure all required routes are covered if scheduled drivers not available  

• Basic to Advanced computer skills to run desktop computer and ability to learn additional software products required by Customers  

• Must be able to work varying shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed due to rotating dispatcher schedule.  

• Monitor and ensure route completion of delivery via the driver check-in process.  

• Track and assist drivers with deliveries for customers in an efficient and professional manner. ·  

• Liaison between the customer and driver with delivery updates or issues.  

• Utilize customer and driver computer systems and technology to monitor and track delivery routes, with ability to adjust at-will to meet deadlines.  

• Gather and maintain route documentation for pick-ups such as scheduled, rescheduled and missed orders.  

• Manage work orders/ customer tickets and data entry.  

• Report driver performance issues or concerns to appropriate management for resolution.  

• Provide courtesy calls to the customer for updates on their appointment and estimated time of arrival.  

• Provide professional customer service and support via phone and or email.  

• Train other employees in dispatching.  

Need a HS diploma, previous experience and clear background/drug screen
