Outreach Coordinator – in-office
Direct Hire; up to 55K + bonus
Central Houston – 77054

Duties:
 

  • Assist with development, marketing, and volunteer outreach
  • Handle diverse marketing and social media initiatives to include maintaining website via WordPress
  • Oversee social media outlets, track metrics, and suggest ways to improve engagement
  • Develop and share testimonials, create content for digital marketing and other campaigns, and review and manage databases for accuracy
  • Manage outreach efforts to include stewardship of current and potential volunteers
  • Oversee implementation of volunteer program; represent at events/fairs/on-site activities
  • Assist with planning and provide support of all development campaign functions, special events, and activities
  • Play an active role in donor stewardship by communicating directly with donors and helping to solicit monetary and in-kind donations

Qualifications:
 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred with 1-2 years of professional experience in nonprofit or communications or marketing
  • Working knowledge of WordPress, MailChimp, Canva, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Suite
  • Passion for the mission; energetic and welcoming personality; encouraging, positive, and professional; team player and collaborative
  • Skills in writing, attention to detail, organization,

  • M-F, 8-5; some flexibility with hours as required by the position
