Outreach Coordinator – in-office
Direct Hire; up to 55K + bonus
Central Houston – 77054
Duties:
- Assist with development, marketing, and volunteer outreach
- Handle diverse marketing and social media initiatives to include maintaining website via WordPress
- Oversee social media outlets, track metrics, and suggest ways to improve engagement
- Develop and share testimonials, create content for digital marketing and other campaigns, and review and manage databases for accuracy
- Manage outreach efforts to include stewardship of current and potential volunteers
- Oversee implementation of volunteer program; represent at events/fairs/on-site activities
- Assist with planning and provide support of all development campaign functions, special events, and activities
- Play an active role in donor stewardship by communicating directly with donors and helping to solicit monetary and in-kind donations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred with 1-2 years of professional experience in nonprofit or communications or marketing
- Working knowledge of WordPress, MailChimp, Canva, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Suite
- Passion for the mission; energetic and welcoming personality; encouraging, positive, and professional; team player and collaborative
