Payroll Specialist

Pay to $31 hour depending on experience
Job Duties:
- Reconcile all 4 quarters of Form 941’s
- Confirm that employee W-2 information is correct and in the correct boxes
- Verify state unemployment rates and update for 2024 is applicable
- Check/update taxes in the system
- Enter adjustments
- Contact tax agencies to resolve discrepancies
- Process and report third-party sick payments on W-2s
- Open/close tax accounts for new acquisitions
- Position is 100% onsite: Must be available to come into the office and available to work during the holiday season. Company is closed on the major holidays
- Working 8-5 pm during the week, and overtime will be needed when applicable. Company is implementing Ceridian
- 3+ years well-rounded payroll experience including all Payroll taxes, year-end processes and adjustments
