Job Title: Entry-Level Accounting Specialist

Riverside, CA (onsite)


  • Perform basic accounting functions requiring knowledge of accounts payable and receivable, as well as reconciliation procedures.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and effectively address problems or complaints.
  • Create and edit spreadsheets using spreadsheet software like Lotus or Excel.
  • Demonstrate understanding of general accounting principles and ensure compliance with established procedures.
  • Under direct supervision, execute entry-level bookkeeping and accounting tasks.
  • Post journal or voucher entries, reconcile accounts, and verify accuracy of financial transactions.
  • Verify, sort, post, and check claims, bills, invoices, and vouchers.
  • Conduct research to resolve accounting discrepancies and issues.


  • High school education or equivalent required; advanced level education preferred.
  • Minimum 7 of relevant experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Knowledge of basic functions with spreadsheet software such as Lotus or Excel.
  • Good analytical skills and proficiency in mathematics.
  • Ability to follow procedures and maintain accurate records.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
