Law Office in Sugarland
Front Desk/Office Clerk/Receptionist
M-F 8am – 5pm

The Front Desk Clerk/Receptionist performs routine clerical, secretarial, administrative and light office, keeping tasks in support of staff and clients.

Duties and Responsibilities
Assist with administrative tasks, to include but not limited to:
• Answer phones and direct calls accordingly
• Receive clients and general public
• Meeting set-up and clean-up
• Prepare and coordinate outgoing mail, Fedex and couriers
• Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages
• Develop and/or maintain various forms, charts and procedures
• Copying and filing
• Type and edit correspondence, reports, memos, etc.
• Help maintain shared calendar in Outlook
• Assist in client meeting coordination and scheduling
• Operate and maintain typical office machinery to include copiers
• Maintain café and kitchen appliances
• Order office and kitchen supplies and maintain adequate inventory
• Maintain common areas
• Coordinate catering for meetings
• Assist Office Coordinator with building maintenance coordination Required

Qualifications
• High School Diploma
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite to include Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Working knowledge of Adobe
• Good time management and tracking skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• Must take initiative
• Attention to detail
• Ethical/confidential (must sign confidentiality agreement)

Preferred Qualifications
• Office experience of 2 years or more
• College degree a plus
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Teams
• Working knowledge of NetDocuments, Dropbox, or similar web-based filing system

Working Conditions/ Physical Requirements
This position requires working in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, coffee machines and filing cabinets. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, as well as stand, walk, reach with hands and arms and lift supplies as heavy as a case of copy paper.

This is a full-time position. Hours are 8:00am -5:00pm Monday – Friday
