Job Description:

Seeking a Daytime Word Processor that will be responsible for producing written correspondence and other legal documents and providing assistance on paralegal and secretarial projects and tasks.  A successful candidate in this position must possess strong computer and technical skills, as well as excellent proofreading and written/verbal communication skills with sharp attention to detail. This position will also assist with training new hires and firm employees.

  • Creates, edits, and formats legal documents to specifications using a variety of software applications; proofreads documents for grammar, spelling, and punctuation and corrects errors; completes all assigned jobs by the deadline in an accurate and timely manner; handles sensitive and/or confidential documents and information.
  • Converts, cleans, and formats documents to/from different file formats.
  • Creates charts, graphs, tables, and spreadsheets as requested.
  • Creates and/or edits Tables of Authorities and Table of Contents.
  • Performs data and time entry utilizing various software applications.
  • Transcribes analog or digital dictation files.
  • Provides telephone help desk support to troubleshoot application queries; responds to email messages and Help Desk tickets from personnel seeking assistance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
