We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Banking Operations Support Specialist to provide daily assistance via phone and email, offering diversified operational support to all bank employees. This role involves handling various banking services, including teller operations, wire transfers, stop payments, and more. The ideal candidate will also administer functions related to new and existing banking relationships, such as opening accounts and reviewing documentation. 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily operational support via phone and email to all bank employees, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Assist with teller-related tasks, ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions.
  • Handle wire transfer requests, ensuring compliance with bank policies and procedures.
  • Process stop payment requests, verifying details and ensuring proper documentation.
  • Provide support for various other banking services as needed to meet client and bank requirements.
  • Administer functions related to new and existing banking relationships, including: opening business and consumer accounts as applicable. Reviewing and maintaining signature cards and business documentation

  •  Assess and mitigate risks associated with banking operations, including potential losses and fraud, ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Review and verify business and consumer documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with bank standards.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in banking operations or a related field is preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; additional education or certifications in banking or finance is a plus.
  • Familiarity with banking operations, including teller functions, wire transfers, and stop payments.
  • Proficiency in banking software and systems, as well as Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing transactions and reviewing documentation.
