Help Desk Associate – Bilingual English/Mandarin
Temp to Hire; up to $26 hourly
Location: Zip Code 77042

**Successful candidate will have exposure to computer support and have a proven background in supporting business systems
**Tech savvy with great customer service background

Duties: 
 

  • Answer calls and emails regarding technical issues from employees; if cannot resolve issue, work with teams need to be involved until issue is resolved
  • Install and maintain computer hardware and software, update applications and perform diagnostic tests and maintenance on computer components
  • Work effectively with programmers and engineers to communicate issues and fixes for systems
  • Communicate with other team members to install hardware and troubleshoot computer issues
  • Assure customers are current on service call information and communication
  • Communicate/work to resolve service calls in a professional and accurate manner
  • Learn and support company’s business systems
  • Assure quality of support meets company expectations
  • Look for ways to improve support processes; ensure systems work effectively for streamlined operations

 
Qualifications:
 

  • High School Degree required; some college highly preferred
  • Strong Microsoft Software skills
  • Outgoing personality, works well with others, enthusiastic, motivated, and professional
  • Excellent follow-through is important!
  • Must demonstrate proven customer service examples
  • Able to balance multiple and competing priorities simultaneously
  • Driven to push to meet company service requirements
  • Able to prioritize tasks by importance
  • **MUST be bilingual in English and Mandarin
