AP Vendor Resolutions Specialist
Indefinite Contract Role – 100% in office
Hours:  Monday thru Friday, 8am to 5pm
Location: Zip Code 77002
Salary $30+ hour depending on experience and qualifications

Job Objective:
Provides exceptional customer service in resolving customer / vendor inquiries, obtaining required forms, reconciling vendor accounts, while assisting the A/P team on all administrative duties.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and resolve A/P inquiries received in the ticketing system.
  • Works with vendors to resolve billing issues and obtain required forms.
  • Answer incoming calls from the A/P Helpdesk call center line
  • Reconcile & process vendor reports/statements as requested.
  • Responds to internal and external telephone calls and e-mails dealing with A/P issues timely.
  • Adheres to the company’s values – integrity, ownership, urgency, alignment and innovation.
  • Supports company vision and mission.
  • Adheres to established work schedule, attendance standards and is punctual to work and meetings.

Other Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintains employee confidence and protects company assets, including intellectual property, by keeping information confidential.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Performs special projects that require knowledge of accounts payable accounting.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Education Requirements:

  • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year university or college with a degree in Accounting, Finance or Business.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years minimum accounts payable accounting experience.
  • Ability to accurately solve problems and a working knowledge in data management including spreadsheet proficiency.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, other departments, officials, and the public.
  • Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with specific ability to translate complex operational information into an organized and presentable manner.
  • Outstanding administrative and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in the use and application of the following software:
  • Required:    Microsoft Office (Excel proficiency including V-LOOKUP), Word and Outlook. 
  • **Please note: Will be tested during pre-screening process
  • Preferred:    Working knowledge of SAP software
