Position: Credit & Collections Manager
Reports to: Controller
Our client is looking for a Credit & Collections Manager to join their team. They are offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

Summary: The Credit & Collections Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to effectively manage and collect outstanding debts. This person will play a key role in managing collections, strategizing, and communicating with management on balances and updates.


  • 10+ years of credit & collections experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or a related field preferred
  • Basic knowledge of Mechanic’s Liens (uses a service)
  • Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple daily tasks and meet deadlines
  • Experience managing a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Analytical skills
  • Time management 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Problem solving skills
  • HighRadius experience highly preferred, not required
  • Microsoft Great Plains experience preferred, not required


  • Develop and implement effective collections strategies
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date notes about communication with customers, expected payments, payment plans, etc.
  • Review and evaluate delinquent accounts to determine appropriate action and strategy to collect
  • Prepare regular reports on collections activities and present to upper management
  • Have meetings with division leaders on customer collection status and assistance needed
  • Manage the team and provide guidance, support, and training as needed
  • Review team KPIs and metrics on performance
  • Collaborate with other departments and teams to resolve issues and complete tasks
  • Build and maintain relationships with branches and billers to create a cohesive environment
  • Evaluate customer credit applications and assign or recommend credit limits
  • Review customer credit limits versus exposure and current risk components
  • Review and sign lien waivers
  • Complete quarterly bad debt reviews, make recommendations for write offs
