Credit Portfolio Manager – Oils portfolios

Job Summary

Responsible for approval and administration of credit to a group of assigned accounts.  Assists Credit leadership in his/her respective duties through recommendations involving procedures and standards.

Minimum Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 3 years.
  • High evel of skill in performing deep dive financial and credit assessments for commercial and corporate counterparties/customers.
  • Ability to advise others of existing & potential customers where growth/restrictions are warranted.
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills to protect company interest.
  • competent to work on complex projects & recommend changes where needed.
  • Minimal supervision.
  • Basic to moderate knowledge of Microsoft Office is required.
  • SAP knowledge is preferred.

Key Role Accountabilities

  • Evaluate creditworthiness of new and existing customers for Company.
  • Approve credit lines within delegated authority; recommend approvals for higher limits or non-standard terms.
  • Conduct regular and ad-hoc credit evaluations; adjust credit lines as necessary.
  • Monitor and control customer account balances to ensure adherence to terms and limits.
  • Initiate collections for past due accounts; review and release orders on credit hold.
  • Assist Accounts Receivable with reconciling payments and resolving outstanding balances.
  • Support Pricing, Customer Service, and other departments with account adjustments and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Contracts, Marketing, and other teams on credit-related aspects of contracts and agreements.
  • Manage payment arrangements for customers in financial difficulty; assist with legal actions against severely delinquent customers.
  • Obtain security agreements (e.g., letters of credit, guaranties) when needed to mitigate credit risk.
  • Undertake ad-hoc projects and prepare reports as requested by management.
  • Stay informed about industry, economic, and global trends affecting credit decisions.

Target Comp $80-100K max depending on experience plus 10% bonus target plus additional incentives
