Contract AP Project Assistant Needed

 TOP REQUIRED SKILLS:

– MUST BE COMPUTER SAVVY
– MUST HAVE 1-3 YEARS OF ACCOUNTING/FINANCE EXPERIENCE

ADDITIONAL NOTES FROM HIRING MANAGER:
– THESE ROLES ARE FOR A SPECIAL PROJECT THAT HAS THE GAZE OF SENIOR MANAGEMENT, SO ACCURACY IS KEY.
– THE PROJECT'S GOAL IS TO CONVERT VENDORS THAT ARE PAID BY CHECK TO ELECTRONIC ACH PAYMENT.

ALL INTERVIEWS WILL BE CONDUCTED VIRTUALLY VIA MS TEAMS. MANAGER WOULD LIKE TO HIRE ASAP.

JOB ROLE:
The Accounts Payable Project Assistant will support our accounts payable team in the execution of the Check Conversion Project aimed at enhancing our financial processes and vendor management. The role will involve contacting targeted vendors currently paid by check to convert their payment method to electronic banking (ACH).

RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Support the accounts payable team in streamlining accounts payable processes with vendors.
– Implement best practices and drive efficiency to the project.
– Contribute to the development and implementation of accounts payable policies and procedures,
– Assist in resolving accounts payable issues and discrepancies related to project objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS:
– High School Diploma or equivalent required
– 1 to 3 years of experience in accounting/finance or related field.
