Looking for candidates who possess excellent communication skills, strong organizational skills, exceptional knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and a desire to continue to learn and grow in a professional environment. Responsibilities:
Communicate with clients to obtain pertinent information for use in preparing legal documents. Draft, proofread and prepare first drafts of transactional and other legal documents as requested. Perform research including agencies such as Secretaries of State, State Comptrollers, Real Property Records, and other public information sources. Maintain and organize electronic case files. General administrative support. Qualifications and Skills:
Ability to prioritize, multitask and problem solve. Ability to follow documented processes and procedures to assist attorneys with project and client management. Critical Thinking: Uses logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems. Active Listening: Gives full attention to what people are asking and takes time to understand the points being made and questions being asked. A high level of professionalism and a strong work ethic. Excellent written and verbal communication. Can communicate effectively and appropriately in writing for the needs of the audience. Detail oriented with excellent proofreading skills. Proficient in all MS Office applications Ability to thrive in a team environment. College degree or equivalent combination of skills and experience
