Purpose and Scope of the Transaction Manager

The Transaction Manager is responsible for providing the Brokers with ongoing support, coordination, tracking, and management regarding all real estate transaction activities in addition to other administrative office duties, as directed. Transaction Managers serve as liaisons between Brokers and third parties, such as title companies and surveyors.
 

Job Duties

  • Prepare and edit contracts, leases, LOIs, and other documents
  • Assist in contract management and manage transactions according to critical dates and timelines
  • Generate and process comps and invoices
  • Assist in contract management for projects and closings
  • Maintain and organize transaction files and databases
  • Coordinate with title companies, surveyors, environmental companies, and clients to meet specified deadlines
  • Answer, screen, and direct incoming calls
  • Add, update, and manage company contacts and real estate listings
  • Provide administrative support to Brokers including, but not limited to, copying, mailing, filing, scanning, and faxing documents

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Commercial or residential real estate experience preferred but not required
  • Real estate license preferred but not required
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of Adobe software systems
  • Real estate license not required
