Contract to Hire Expeditor Needed ASAP
to $19 hourly

Responsibilities – 

• Contact vendors and shippers to check status of orders and ensure that merchandise, supplies, and equipment are forwarded on specified shipping dates
• Confer with company personnel, vendors, and customers to coordinate shipping activities and to resolve complaints or eliminate delays
• Communicate transportation company to preclude delays in transit, puts tracers on shipment in cases of en route delays, and may arrange for distribution of materials upon arrival
• Performs other duties as required

Competencies

• Effective computer skills; Microsoft Office Software, excellent skills in Excel, and other company specific software applications preferred
• Ability to communicate clearly, both written and verbally
• Must be detail oriented with the ability to multi-task
• Ability to prepare for emerging customer needs
• Effective analytical and problem-solving skills

Education and Experience

• Minimum 1 year of directly related training or experience
• High school Diploma or GED required
• College degree(s) preferred
