Fixed Asset Inventory Accountant

To 40$ hourly

• Financial accounting, analysis and reconciliations including income, expenses and capital expenditures and fixed assets and inventory
• Prepare accounting entries and for fixed asset and in-progress transactions ·
• Review and approve monthly and quarterly account reconciliations as prepared by the team to lower risk and ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
• Review and approve medium to high risk journal entries as prepared by the team
• Prepare, review and input journal entries for month-end close
• Participate in monthly, quarterly and Annual close
• Analyze, investigate and resolve accounting and control issues in accordance with company policies
• Prepare and analyze financial records and reports
• Prepare account reconciliations and analysis including cash and bank, intercompany and general ledger.
• Analyze variances, communicate results and provides support to operational areas in understanding and managing variances.
• Participate in continuous improvement and champion best practices and improvements to transactional accuracy
• Perform SOX controls

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Acct or Finance
• Minimum Years of Experience: 3 yr of Financial Analysis
• Prefer manufacturing experience
• Prior knowledge of fixed assets
• Advanced Excel and accounting software skills- will be tested
• Prior experience with SAP or another ERP system
• Excellent communication
