Front Desk Receptionist Needed!

77042 West Houston location (in office, no remote)
Salary $20-22 hourly depending on experience
Summary/Objective: Provides general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks.
The Front Desk Administrative Assistant will be responsible for answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate associates, mail distribution, flow of correspondence, requisition of supplies as well as additional clerical duties.
- Answers telephones and directs the caller to the appropriate associate.
- Greets and directs visitors to the company.
- Takes and retrieves messages for various personnel.
- Responds to internal and external inquiries and distributes accurate information.
- Receives, sorts and forwards incoming mail.
- Coordinates the pick-up and delivery of express mail services (FedEx, UPS, etc.)
- Assists in the ordering, receiving, stocking and distribution of office supplies.
- Assists with other related clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, filing and collating.
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)
- Keep updated records of office expenses and costs
- May be asked to coordinate and/or pick up catering orders for meetings or management
Education & Experience needed:
- Associate’s degree
- 3-5 years office administration in a professional setting
