As a Senior Research Analyst, you will play a key role in developing comprehensive market reports, creating insightful research publications, and producing impactful analytical content. This position is all about digging into data to uncover valuable insights and identify emerging market trends. You’ll ensure data integrity, craft compelling content for client presentations and RFPs, and support property market valuations. Plus, you’ll manage the day-to-day operations of the research department to keep everything running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of market reports, research publications, and analytical materials that shape key business decisions.
- Aggregate, validate, and analyze data to derive market insights and identify trends.
- Create and deliver content for client presentations, proposals, and Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
- Support property market valuations with data-driven insights.
- Manage the research department’s daily operations to ensure smooth functioning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- A minimum of five years’ experience in a research role, ideally within commercial real estate; knowledge of the industrial sector is a plus.
- Expertise in calculating and analyzing key market metrics (e.g., vacancy rates, absorption, inventory, deliveries, cap rates).
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with tools like Lexis Nexus, Zoom Info, and Retail Lease Trac is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly and effectively.
- Detail-oriented and analytical, with a proven ability to thrive under pressure.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and a results-oriented approach.
- Strong writing, research, and presentation skills that engage clients and stakeholders.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
