Accounts Payable Associate
Immediate Opportunity – Start ASAP!
Pasadena location, In-Office (no remote)
Pay to $26 hourly
Job Summary:
The Accounts Payable Associate is responsible for the timely and accurate recording of invoices and expense reports.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Accurately process all invoices received on a timely basis.
- Process high volume invoices
- Vouchers approved items and invoices for payments.
- Match inventory invoices to purchase orders.
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
- Generate checks when information is received from the director of accounting. Attach backup to checks and prepare for mailing.
- Processes setup and first approval for wire/ACH payments.
- Completes credit applications and sets up new vendors.
- Maintain organized accounts payable records.
- Reconciles billing issues, working with both vendors and buyers.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to multitask and function in a high-paced and often at times stressful environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 3 or more years’ experience required.
- Must have AS400 prior experience!
