Command Center Supervisor (Onsite – Great Cypress Area | 77070)
Direct Hire | Up to $60,000 + PTO | Full-Time | In-Office Only
We are seeking a highly capable Command Center Supervisor to support and lead our 24/7 Command Center (SOC). This role oversees daily operations including security monitoring (cameras & access controls), infrastructure monitoring (BMS-related systems), and frontline IT/Help Desk support. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates with clarity, and can confidently handle escalations while supporting a diverse, around-the-clock team.
What You’ll Do

Provide leadership, guidance, and a strong presence to help build and strengthen a high-performing Command Center team

Supervise daily monitoring activities and ensure full awareness of systems managed by the team

Assist with basic IT support tasks, including Microsoft user management, VPN support, and general troubleshooting

Identify process improvements and partner with management to enhance team performance

Serve as an escalation point for incidents and urgent requests

Professionally manage inbound/outbound calls and emails with accuracy and efficiency

Ensure all communication, documentation, and ticketing is completed according to company standards

Cover open shifts when needed and support a 24-hour operation as required
Schedule
-
Monday–Friday | 10:00 AM–7:00 PM

Flexibility required to cover 12-hour shifts as needed (day or night)

Guaranteed 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications
-
Associate’s degree in a related Computer Science field

Successful experience in a corporate/office environment

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Solid problem-solving, conflict resolution, and escalation skills

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and operate both independently and within a team

Strong work ethic and professional integrity

Excellent note-taking and documentation habits

Exceptional organization and time management

Willingness to work long hours or adjust schedule when needed
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with security systems, access control, and camera monitoring

Customer support or help desk experience

Ticketing system knowledge

Understanding of critical infrastructure: UPS power, HVAC, ATS & switchgear, generators, etc.

Relevant IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Security+, CCNA, CCNP, etc.)
