Cash Applications Specialist- SW Houston


  • Process customer cash, checks and electronic payments
  • Identify and allocate all payments and ensure that all cash is posted and distributed
  • Responsible for processing electronic and manual remittance transactions
  • Research and Reconcile discrepancies and account claims
  • Maintain proper communication with customers and Collectors
  • Apply and post customer payments to proper accounts
  • Maintain excel reports
  • Answer inquiries both internal and external in regards to payments and balances
  • Reconcile daily cash balance


  • Minimum of 2 years cash posting experience
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work with little to no supervision
  • Strong attention to detail and deadline oriented
  • 10-key by touch, data entry and research experience required
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

This is a temp to hire position. Training will be held in the office and the position will then be remote until they return to the office.
