Design Manager – Multifamily 

Direct Hire; up to 115k + bonuses

Central Houston

**In office position – NOT remote
**Must have 7 years' experience 

Duties:

• Manage project design from early initial site plan development through permitting and managing project for conformance with company’s design and quality control standards during construction
• Manage/Lead Design Consultants (Architect, MEP, Structural, Interiors, and Landscape)
• Collaborate with internal and onsite construction team to ensure successful design implementation
• Ensure FHA and ADA compliance based on consultant reports
• Responsible for pre-development, document development, coordination with interior design, coordination with outside marketing efforts, and project construction including site visits, document review, field coordination, scheduling mockups, coordination with exterior, interior and landscape design, quality assurance and meeting participation/contribution

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Architecture is required with 7+ years’ experience
• Strong SketchUp and AutoCAD; familiarity with Revit, Plangrid, and Procore preferred  
• Great communicator with all levels of an organization and government agencies and neighborhood groups
• Ability to travel some for regular construction site visits  
• Participate in Industry activities (i.e. ULI, housing seminars, etc.).
• Stay current with green building initiatives such as LEED and NGBS
• Stay current with Architectural Licensing
