Purchasing Agent

Direct Hire; up 80K

Dallas, TX

**In office position – not remote


  • Provide support to construction personnel in all budgeting and purchasing activities
  • Coordinate company purchasing issues with sales, operations, vendors, and accounting
  • Process weekly starts for assigned communities; backup other agents
  • Process change orders to existing starts in assigned communities
  • Coordinate with Construction Managers, Sales and Design Center to expedite starts
  • Review decorator selections and custom change orders against blueprints
  • Request bids/pricing from vendors for budget revisions
  • Work with builders and area managers


  • Bachelor’s preferred; high school diploma required
  • 3 to 5 years’ purchasing experience a MUST – homebuilding or construction industry is a plus
  • Skilled in BRIX preferred; Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook a MUST
  • Professional image and presentation; excellent communication skills
  • Detailed, multi-task, team player, strong work ethic, and work well under pressure
