Purchasing Coordinator

Direct Hire; up 65K

Dallas, TX

**In office position – not remote


  • Provide support for construction personnel in budgeting and purchasing; coordinate with sales, operations, vendors, and accounting
  • Create purchase orders for builders, suppliers and vendors
  • Responsible for back charges
  • Order appliances
  • Ensure buyer signed change orders for upgrades
  • Input color selections and custom changes into budget
  • Request pricing from vendors for budget revisions
  • Work with builders and area managers


  • Bachelor’s preferred; high school diploma required
  • 2+ years’ experience in a purchasing department a MUST – homebuilding is a plus  
  • Skilled in BRIX preferred; Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook a MUST
  • Professional image and presentation; excellent communication skills
  • Detailed, multi-task, team player, strong work ethic, and work well under pressure
