Real Estate & Facilities Assistant Manager

Direct Hire; up to 90K + bonus

Dallas, TX

Duties:

 

  • Assist in planning and directing real estate and facility-related services
  • Ensures company standards are adhered to and executed consistent with company direction. 
  • Build relationships with developers and landlords
  • Identify and manage building maintenance amenities – HVAC, roof, parking lots, plumbing, electrical, security, janitorial
  • Visit sites to evaluate facility conditions and identify repairs and facility maintenance projects
  • Assist in developing/executing strategy for new and existing locations
  • Support construction/building-related projects ensuring on-time completion and within budget – scope, bids, contracts, vendor set-up, procurement, and project design
  • Assist with negotiating ownership, lease transactions, and lease renewals (locations/corporate)
  • Manage and approve expenses related to facility maintenance
  • Support space planning, building moves, renovations and installations of facility assets and equipment
  • Partner with local vendors and appropriate governing agencies to resolve issues – billing, performance, inspections, or compliance
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by providing timely responses and creativity for completion of facilities projects
  • Conduct financial / business analysis; prepare reports

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required with 3+ experience in a facilities-related role
  • Real Estate License preferred
  • Skilled in facilities management, preventive maintenance, furniture, space planning and building systems
  • Strong technical skills including Microsoft Office Suite; financially and numbers savvy including cash flow modeling and depreciation calculation
  • Strong analytical decision making skills, time management, prioritization, multi-tasking, and ability to meet deadlines; detailed and results-driven
  • Excellent customer service and communication; work with and motivate outside vendors
