Mailroom and Facilities Support Assistant
Location: Downtown Houston
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire
Pay Rate: Up to $25/hr
We are seeking an experienced, energetic, and self-starting professional with mailroom experience to join our team. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling a variety of mailroom and light facilities support duties.
Responsibilities:

Track all incoming and outgoing USPS mail, certified mail, checks, and courier packages

Follow and update mail handling procedures and maintain mail distribution lists

Coordinate internal office moves, minor repairs, and general maintenance requests

Deliver and restock consumables and non-consumables across multiple office locations

Assemble small office equipment such as carts or shelving units

Maintain a clean, organized mailroom and supply storage areas
Requirements:

Prior experience in a mailroom or facilities support role

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Publisher)

Excellent organization skills and strong attention to detail

Ability to lift packages up to 75 pounds

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
