Position Overview:
The firm is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys handling catastrophic injury cases, including commercial vehicle accidents and oil and gas-related claims. This role requires at least 5 years of litigation experience in personal injury law and full bilingual fluency in English and Spanish to effectively serve a diverse client base. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and confident working in a fast-paced, high-stakes legal environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist attorneys in all phases of litigation, including case preparation, discovery, trial, and post-trial procedures

Draft and file legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and subpoenas

Organize, manage, and review large volumes of case materials and evidence

Communicate with clients, experts, and opposing counsel in both English and Spanish

Coordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial preparation

Review and summarize medical records, accident reports, and witness statements

Maintain detailed and organized litigation files and databases

Track deadlines and ensure timely filings and responses in compliance with court rules
Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of litigation paralegal experience in personal injury, preferably catastrophic injury or complex liability cases

Strong understanding of litigation procedures, court rules, and case strategy

Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (required)

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Advanced proficiency in legal case management software and Microsoft Office

Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and support attorneys in a fast-paced environment

Trial preparation experience strongly preferred
