Temp to hire IT Desktop Support
Temp to hire
Salary: $20-$29 per hour (dependent on experience)
Hours: 8am -5pm with one hour lunch
Location: 77081 (covers Houston, CyFair, Texas City, Richmond, Liberty, Beaumont areas)
**This position will require driving once the temp period is completed. We will need:
-
- Valid Driver’s License
- Proof of insurance on personal vehicle that they may be driving for work
- MVR Background check, employees must have a CLEAN DRIVING RECORD
- When the candidate begins driving, they will be added to the random drug testing pool due driving company vehicle or own vehicle for work purposes
The ideal candidate should possess the qualities below:
- At least 1+ years of experience preferred
- Comp TIA A+, Network+ or similiar certifications preferred
- Must be thoroughly familiar with Microsoft Windows OS and Office/O365 suite
- AdvancedTroubleshooting skills across:
- Desktop and laptop computers, servers and network hardware
- Software and OS issues
- Printers, print servers, and peripherals
- VPN connectivity and network access
- Experience with antivirus monitoring and remediation tools
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer service focused mindset
- Able to work independently, manage priorities and follow through with little to no supervision but also functions well in team environment
- Eager to learn and grow- primary areas of scripting, network automation and basic database work
- Bonus – Python, Powershell or another programming level. Knowledge of relational database like Oracle, SQL Server or PostgreSQL
