The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, and order fulfillment. This role provides leadership to warehouse staff, ensures compliance with safety standards, and implements best practices to maintain accuracy, productivity, and excellent customer service. The Warehouse Supervisor also collaborates closely with Customer Service and directly with customers to achieve high fill rates, meet special order requirements, and exceed expectations for quality and timeliness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate warehouse associates to foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Schedule inbound and outbound freight with appropriate carriers, considering shipment weight, size, value, and timing requirements.
- Ensure all orders are picked, verified, and shipped accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain an organized, safe, and clean warehouse environment at all times.
- Monitor and manage department KPIs, including quality, on-time delivery, shipment accuracy, and inventory accuracy.
- Conduct weekly cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and report findings.
- Ensure inventory is properly recorded in the system and physical locations are up-to-date.
- Identify and correct unsafe conditions, behaviors, and work processes.
- Actively contribute to both short- and long-term warehouse strategy planning.
- Maintain adequate shipping supplies to support operational needs.
- Communicate effectively with associates, vendors, and customers to resolve issues and improve service.

- Forklift experience required (certification provided during onboarding if not already certified).
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; additional education a plus.
- 3+ years of warehouse experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and shipping/receiving processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
