Manager, Asset Reliability
Direct Hire; up to 185K + bonus
Midland or Houston
**field-based experience a must
Duties:
- Develop and implement asset reliability and maintenance strategies; conduct reliability studies and risk assessments; maintain and improve Maximo
- Verify preventative maintenance tasks are conducted on time and prompt actions are taken to rectify corrective maintenance tasks and procedures
- Manage spare part inventory
- Ensure run times of facilities are tracked and implement ideas to improve; collaborate in root cause failure analysis
- Collaborate with capital project manager for design changes after repeated failure of equipment
- Provide technical support for operations and maintenance activities
- Manage execution of preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Prepare reports on asset performance and reliability metrics
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives and projects
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards
- Manage and maintain timecards of direct reports; verify timesheets are reviewed and approved timely and in compliance; participate in performance management, hiring, development, and disciplinary processes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering; Mechanical or Chemical highly preferred
- 15 years’ exp. including supervisory in asset reliability preferred; 10 years of relevant oil and gas exp. with 5 years of asset reliability focus required
- Equipment knowledgeable with saltwater disposal wells (pumps, tanks, etc.) and asset reliability platforms
- Strong organization, planning, and time-management; strong communication skills with all levels; adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Microsoft Office Suite; Maximo skills highly preferred
- Proactive problem-solver with strong critical and analytic skills
