Plant Manager/Title Abstractor needed – remote – must be Texas based
Join our client’s team as a Title Plant Manager responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, and accuracy of the title plant while conducting detailed title research for various real estate transactions. As a crucial member of their team, you will ensure compliance with Texas Department of Insurance regulations, efficient title production, and the delivery of accurate title evidence to our clients and partners.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in Texas land title abstracting and title plant operations.
- Proficiency in conducting comprehensive real property record research.
- Experience with title plant software, indexing systems, and county records databases.
- Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve complex title issues.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced production environment.
- Familiarity with TDI requirements and audit processes.
- Proficiency with title software such as SoftPro, halFILE, and public records databases.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Familiarity with mineral rights, easements, and right-of-way research.
- Certification from TLTA or similar organization.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Certification in Title Plant Management.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with team members.
- Strong time management and task prioritization abilities.
- Professional judgment and discretion.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for training or meetings.
