Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Administrative Assistant to support an urgent Paycor data cleanup project following a large entity merge. This role is critical to restoring data accuracy across employee and payroll records. The ideal candidate brings hands-on Paycor experience, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm, focused, and methodical while working through a high-priority situation.
This is a “stay the course” assignment — success depends on patience, accuracy, and follow-through rather than speed alone.
Key Responsibilities

Support the cleanup and reconciliation of employee and payroll records impacted by a Paycor entity merge

Review, validate, and correct employee files to ensure payroll and HR data accuracy

Identify duplicates, inconsistencies, and errors resulting from the data merge

Serve as a second set of eyes to verify corrections and ensure data integrity

Maintain strict confidentiality when handling employee and payroll information

Document issues, resolutions, and progress throughout the cleanup process

Communicate clearly with payroll and HR leadership as needed regarding findings or risks

Follow established procedures and remain focused until the cleanup is fully completed
Required Qualifications

Hands-on Paycor experience is required

Prior experience supporting payroll, HR administration, or HRIS data management

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data-heavy environments

Calm, steady demeanor with the ability to work effectively in a high-urgency situation

Comfortable working independently in a remote setting

Strong communication skills via phone, email, and Microsoft Teams
