Our Client is seeking a Complex Litigation Paralegal to join the growing Austin office
The Litigation Paralegal will assist attorneys through all phases of case management, including complex investigations, discovery, e-discovery management, trial preparation, and courtroom attendance. Key Responsibilities
Case Management & Discovery

Draft pleadings and motions
-
Develop and implement ESI preservation and collection plans

Prepare litigation hold and data preservation documentation
-
Draft ESI protocols and coordinate with opposing counsel
-
Manage written discovery (requests and responses)
-
Prepare subpoenas and public records requests
-
Review documents for responsiveness, confidentiality, and privilege
-
Prepare privilege logs and maintain production logs
-
Coordinate document ingestion and management in e-discovery platforms
-
Develop document review strategies and protocols
-
Organize and analyze production documents
Depositions & Experts
-
Prepare deposition summaries and logs
-
Compile exhibits for depositions
-
Interface with experts and maintain expert logs
Trial & Arbitration Support
-
Prepare trial and arbitration notebooks
-
Draft exhibit lists and prepare demonstrative exhibits
-
Assist with deposition designations
-
Prepare witness subpoenas
-
Handle exhibits at trial and use trial presentation software
Additional Responsibilities
-
Analyze documentary evidence and prepare timelines
-
Assist with mediation preparation and damages spreadsheets
-
Conduct internet-based research
-
Support post-judgment collection efforts (garnishment, levy, asset searches, etc.)

Coordinate with vendors, consultants, and court personnel
Minimum Requirements
-
Minimum 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience
-
Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate preferred (significant experience may substitute)
-
Experience filing in Federal and State trial and appellate courts
-
Trial experience required
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Lexis/Westlaw, and database management
-
Experience with trial software (e.g., Trial Director) preferred
-
Experience with e-discovery platforms (e.g., Reveal)
-
Construction litigation experience preferred
