Human Resources Director – Healthcare and/or Technology experience highly preferred
Direct Hire; up to 235K
Remote from Greater Houston – 1x (or as needed) per month in Woodlands office
Important:
- MUST have international experience/exposure
- Will support with offshoring effort (including downsizing)
- Must have grit with a strong head on their shoulders; excellent executive presence
- AVP would love to hand things off to this new team member
- Handle systems implementation, audits, comp analysis, reorg, strategy, process management, curate SOPs and track metrics
Duties:
- Support development and execution of HR operations, including shared services and process improvement initiatives
- Assist in designing and overseeing a centralized HR service delivery model to improve efficiency and scalability
- Map, redesign, and document end-to-end HR processes; identify gaps and implement standardized solutions
- Establish and maintain workflows, service standards, and continuous process improvement practices
- Provide oversight and guidance on complex employee relations matters
- Ensure consistent application of HR policies, procedures, and best practices
- Support compliance with employment laws and regulations while mitigating organizational risk
- Contribute to mergers and acquisitions (M&A) activities, including HR due diligence and integration efforts
- Assist with organizational restructuring and change management initiatives
- Help align people, processes, and systems during periods of transition
- Monitor and analyze key HR metrics and trends to support data-driven decision-making
- Provide insights and reporting to guide workforce planning and business strategy
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of HR data and reporting processes
- Support the development and execution of HR team priorities and deliverables
- Provide coaching, feedback, and performance management to ensure high-quality HR service delivery
- Promote consistency and excellence across HR team operations
- Assist with HRIS implementation, upgrades, and system optimization efforts
- Partner with IT and external vendors to maintain system functionality and effectiveness
- Help establish system workflows, reporting capabilities, and user adoption practices
- Partner with leadership to support HR strategies aligned with business objectives
- Provide input on workforce planning, organizational design, and effectiveness
- Translate strategic HR direction into actionable plans and execution
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred (or equivalent work experience)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources management
- At least 2 years of experience in a director-level HR role
- Professional HR certification such as SPHR or SHRM-SCP preferred
