Controller
A growing and well-established healthcare organization is seeking an experienced and strategic Controller to lead accounting and financial reporting operations. This role is responsible for overseeing daily accounting functions, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance, and providing financial and operational analysis to support executive leadership. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting expertise, leadership capabilities, and experience within healthcare or professional services environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations including general ledger maintenance, accounts receivable, and internal controls
- Manage month-end close processes and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting and financial statement preparation
- Lead budgeting and forecasting activities, including variance analysis and financial modeling
- Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting team members
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable regulatory requirements
- Coordinate external audits and tax engagements
- Provide financial and operational analysis to support strategic decision-making
- Oversee revenue cycle management and partner with operational teams to improve financial performance
- Strengthen and enhance accounting processes and internal controls
Qualifications
- CPA and/or MBA required
- 7–10 years of progressive accounting experience
- Prior public accounting experience preferred
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory or management experience
- Healthcare industry experience strongly preferred
- Strong background in financial reporting and budgeting
- Revenue cycle management experience required
- MIS or systems knowledge is a plus

- Salary range: $115,000 – $140,000 annually

Additional Information
- Master’s degree preferred
