Paralegal – Plaintiff Litigation
A prominent downtown Houston plaintiff litigation firm is seeking an experienced and highly organized Paralegal to support attorneys handling complex, high-profile litigation matters. This position offers the opportunity to work on nationally recognized cases in a fast-paced, collaborative legal environment.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and file legal documents in state and federal courts
- Manage case files, discovery, and document production
- Coordinate hearings, depositions, mediations, and trial preparation
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and court personnel
- Assist attorneys with trial strategy and courtroom preparation
- Conduct legal research and summarize records, pleadings, and evidence
- Maintain litigation calendars and deadlines
Qualifications
- 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of Texas state and federal court procedures
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple high-stakes cases simultaneously
- Trial experience is a plus
- Proficiency with legal case management and e-filing systems
