Commercial Litigation Paralegal
A sophisticated commercial litigation team is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys handling complex, high-stakes business disputes in both state and federal court. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys strategic, fast-paced litigation work and wants meaningful involvement in trial preparation and case management.
What You’ll Work On
- Complex commercial litigation matters, including:
- breach of contract disputes
- shareholder and business partner disputes
- trade secret litigation
- injunction/TRO matters
- Large-scale cases involving multiple business entities and high-volume document management
- Active trial and arbitration matters, with opportunities to assist in trial preparation and potentially attend trial
Key Responsibilities
- Draft and manage discovery, including Requests for Production and discovery responses
- Prepare motions and litigation support documents
- Organize and summarize incoming discovery for attorneys
- Maintain case deadlines, calendaring, and litigation workflow
- Coordinate subpoenas, disclosures, and case filings
- Assist with document management and case organization for complex litigation matters
- Support attorneys through all phases of litigation, including trial preparation and injunction proceedings
What They’re Looking For
- 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience
- Experience supporting commercial litigation matters preferred
- Strong understanding of litigation procedure in state and federal court
- Highly organized with strong deadline management skills
- Someone proactive who can anticipate case needs and help keep matters moving
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where each case requires strategic thinking and attention to detail
