Dispatcher Needed ASAP

Start time between 6-8am working 8 hours

Duties and Responsibilities:

Some dispatching experience preferred but will review solid office administration experience

Possess and apply strong skills including: urgency, consistency and great communication

Must have high attention to detail and consistently follow up on issues or exceptions with drivers when required

Basic to Advanced computer skills to run desktop computer and ability to learn additional software products required

Monitor and ensure route completion of delivery via the driver check-in process.

Track and assist drivers in an efficient and professional manner. ·

Gather and maintain route documentation
-
Manage work orders/ tickets and data entry.
-
Report driver performance issues or concerns to appropriate management for resolution.
-
Provide courtesy calls to the customer for updates on their appointment and estimated time of arrival.

Provide professional customer service and support via phone and or email.
-
Train other employees in dispatching.
