HR Business Partner
AI Real Estate | Pre-Public Company
West Houston | Fully in Office
About the Role
We’re looking for a Talent Success Manager / HR Business Partner to own the employee experience from sourcing through onboarding and beyond.
This is a hands-on, tech-forward role for someone who enjoys both the people side and the data side of HR. You’ll lead full-cycle recruiting, partner with managers and leadership, build talent pipelines, improve onboarding, and use HR technology, analytics, automation, and AI to make our people processes smarter and more effective.
We’re a small, growing AI real estate company preparing for its next stage of growth and working toward becoming a public company. You’ll have the opportunity to help build the HR infrastructure and talent organization that will support that growth.
This is not a narrow HR role. We need someone who is comfortable tackling both strategic initiatives and detailed administrative work—and who naturally thinks, “I’ll figure it out.”
What You’ll Do
- Own full-cycle recruiting from sourcing and screening through offers, onboarding, and early employee integration.
- Partner with hiring managers to define needs, develop recruiting strategies, and drive hiring processes.
- Build creative talent pipelines using traditional and AI-enabled sourcing.
- Represent and sell the company to candidates, schools, professional networks, and recruiting communities.
- Design and improve onboarding, including 30/60/90-day expectations and first-30-day integration.
- Support benefits, time off, employee relations, HR administration, and other employee lifecycle needs.
- Use HRIS, ATS, analytics, and AI tools to improve recruiting, reporting, workflows, and decision-making.
- Track talent metrics such as time-to-fill, pipeline health, turnover, candidate experience, and onboarding effectiveness.
- Build automations and scalable processes that improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Support culture, engagement, employer brand, compliance, and special projects.
- Jump into tasks outside traditional HR responsibilities when the business needs it.
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5+ years of broad HR generalist and full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in a small or mid-sized company.
- Strong experience across the employee lifecycle, including recruiting, onboarding, benefits, time off, and employee support.
- Experience partnering with hiring managers and business leaders.
- Strong talent pipeline development and candidate relationship skills.
- Experience with HRIS/ATS platforms; ADP, Paylocity, or Ashby is a plus.
- Familiarity with HR analytics, AI-enabled recruiting, and process automation.
- Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail.
- Strong computer, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred; HR certification is a plus.
Public-company experience is a plus, but not required. We value broad hands-on experience in a smaller organization over highly specialized experience in a large, siloed HR environment.
Who You Are
You’re smart, hungry, capable, and personable. You have grit and gusto, enjoy learning, and want great mentorship.
You’re comfortable moving from recruiting a senior candidate to building a spreadsheet, solving an HR issue, improving a workflow, or researching something you’ve never encountered before.
You don’t ask, “Is this my job?” You ask, “What needs to get done?”
If you want to wear a lot of hats, learn quickly, use technology intelligently, and have a meaningful impact, we’d like to meet you.
