Bookkeeper | Office Manager
Temp to Hire; $25-$28 hour
Champions Forest location, Zip Code 77069
Monday – Friday | 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. | Fully in-office
Our client is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper / Office Manager to provide a blend of accounting, administrative, and operational support to the office and management team.
This is a hands-on role for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable taking ownership of day-to-day responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have strong bookkeeping skills, excellent follow-through, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while keeping financial and administrative records accurate and up to date.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounts payable activity, including invoice entry, payment processing, and vendor communication
- Maintain organized and accurate financial and corporate records
- Process bi-monthly payroll and related administrative responsibilities
- Manage accounts receivable, including collections, payment tracking, and bank deposits
- Oversee client payment plans and follow up on outstanding balances
- Assist with client and vendor questions, discrepancies, and payment issues
- Reconcile invoices and financial information between accounting and CRM systems
- Coordinate administrative processes for new hires, including reporting, name tags, business cards, and related materials
- Coordinate recurring printing and marketing collateral requests
- Maintain corporate records, including DBAs and other required filings
- Gather information and prepare reports or documentation as needed
- Assist management with special projects and other administrative needs
- Provide general office support and ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time
Qualifications
- 3+ years’ experience in bookkeeping, office management, accounting, or a similar role
- Experience with accounting software required; QuickBooks Online highly preferred
- Associate degree in Accounting or a related field preferred
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines
- Strong communication, follow-up, and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications
