Project Coordinator – Design/Build (In-Office)
Direct Hire; up to 85K + bonus eligible
North Houston
Duties:
- Maintain and organize drawings, RFIs, submittals, contracts, change orders, and meeting minutes
- Track submittals and RFIs; coordinate reviews and responses
- Manage drawing revisions and version control
- Administer documentation in Procore
- Track long-lead, mission-critical equipment and delivery schedules
- Maintain procurement logs and align vendor timelines with construction milestones
- Coordinate shipping, staging, and site delivery
- Support schedule updates and track key milestones (energization, inspections, commissioning)
- Prepare weekly progress reports
- Assist with OAC meeting preparation and documentation
- Assist with pay applications and subcontractor invoice tracking
- Maintain change order logs and cost tracking
- Ensure compliance documentation remains current
- Collect commissioning documentation
- Compile O&M manuals, warranties, and as-builts
- Support final turnover documentation to meet client requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Construction Management or Engineering preferred
- 2–5 years of experience in commercial or industrial construction coordination; data center preferred
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and project tracking systems; design/build delivery models preferred
- Experience with Procore or similar construction management software
- Electrical and mechanical infrastructure systems experience preferred
- Manage multiple concurrent projects, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail
- Strong communicator, team player, and take ownership
- High attention to detail, structured and process/deadline-driven, and strong sense of urgency; fast paced
