A well-established commercial litigation law firm located in Houston's Galleria area is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four years of experience supporting attorneys in a commercial litigation practice and possess strong organizational, communication, and case management skills.

Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and litigation support to attorneys handling commercial litigation matters.
- Prepare, proofread, and format legal documents, correspondence, pleadings, motions, and discovery materials.
- File documents in state and federal courts, including e-filing through applicable court systems.
- Maintain case files, calendars, deadlines, and docketing systems.
- Coordinate attorney schedules, meetings, depositions, mediations, and court appearances.
- Manage document production, discovery responses, and trial preparation materials.
- Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and vendors.
- Assist with billing, expense reports, and time entry as needed.
- Perform additional administrative and litigation support duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of legal assistant experience in a commercial litigation law firm.
- Strong knowledge of Texas state and federal court procedures and e-filing systems.
- Experience supporting multiple attorneys in a fast-paced litigation environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and legal case management software.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to prioritize competing deadlines and work independently.
