Kandace Spivey is a seasoned legal recruiting executive with more than two decades of experience in talent acquisition and workforce strategy, she specializes in building high-performing legal recruitment teams and delivering top-tier talent to law firms in the Texas market.

She currently serves as Division Head of the Legal practice for a Texas-based boutique recruiting firm headquartered in Houston, where she founded and built the firm’s Legal Specialty Group. In this role, she leads the strategic growth of the division, advising clients on legal hiring strategy while expanding the firm’s presence in the Texas market. Since launching the practice, she has successfully placed more than 200 legal professionals, supporting both law firms and corporate legal departments with critical talent needs.

Previously, she spent more than eight years with a nationally recognized professional services and consulting firm, rising to Director of Talent Acquisition. She led large-scale recruiting initiatives across multiple offices nationally and played a key role in scaling the organization’s legal hiring function, helping grow the litigation and consulting group by 50 percent year over year. Her leadership strengthened recruiting infrastructure, developed high-impact talent pipelines, and supported rapid organizational expansion.

Earlier in her career, she led legal recruiting and sales teams focused on placing attorneys and legal professionals in the Texas and Louisiana market. She also managed a major staffing branch for a global workforce solutions firm, overseeing operations, client partnerships, and recruiting performance.
