Senior Accountant – DFW / Hybrid

Professional Alternatives is partnering with a $4B+ global, multi-site organization to identify a Senior Accountant for its North American headquarters in DFW.

This is an excellent opportunity for a strong accounting professional with industry experience, public accounting experience, or a combination of both who is looking for a visible corporate role with long-term advancement potential.

The company is financially strong, growing through both acquisitions and organic expansion, and has an established culture of promoting from within. This role offers broad corporate accounting responsibility, exposure to special projects, and regular interaction with Finance and Operations.

Hybrid schedule: 4 days in office / 1 day work from home

What You’ll Do

Perform general accounting activities including journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, and month-end close

Prepare and analyze financial statements, variance analyses, and supporting schedules

Prepare and review cash reconciliations and assist with ad hoc reconciliation projects

Support month-end, half-year, and year-end financial reporting

Assist with annual financial audits and technical accounting research

Coordinate documentation and responses for external auditors

Help strengthen internal controls and improve accounting and reporting processes

Participate in special projects and other accounting initiatives

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

CPA preferred, not a must

Approximately 4–5 years of accounting experience in industry, public accounting, or a combination of both

Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close

Experience supporting external audits

Advanced Excel and analytical skills

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Experience with ERP and financial reporting systems

Trintech Matcher experience is a plus
