Escrow Officer
Overview:
This position, based in Riverview, FL, requires your presence in the office Monday to Friday. As an Escrow Officer, you will play a crucial role in facilitating real estate transactions by managing settlement operations. Acting as the key link between various stakeholders, you will ensure smooth and efficient closings for homebuyers, sellers, and other involved parties.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and approve Settlement Statements
- Coordinate deeds and verify loan documents and insurance
- Obtain signatures for closing transactions and explain document details
- Comply with Escrow Accounting Business Practice Guidelines
- Review quality assurance reports and resolve issues
- Facilitate the flow of information among departments
- Address post-closing matters
Required Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of Escrow Officer experience
Licensing and Certifications:
- State/Federal Agencies licensing requirements
- Notary Public license as per State regulations
Required Skills:
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail
- Adaptability to change
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with OneNote and SoftPro is advantageous
