Senior Accountant
Direct Hire | Up to $120K
NW Houston | Fully In Office
I’m actively recruiting for a Senior Accountant role in NW Houston for a direct hire position with a compensation package of up to $120K. This is a fully in-office position and an exciting opportunity to join a growing organization as a key player working closely with the Controller.
About the Role: You’ll be involved in day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, analysis, and process improvements. If you have strong accounting fundamentals, experience supporting senior accounting leadership, and a knack for leveraging data and technology to enhance efficiency, we want to hear from you! NetSuite experience is a major plus and offers a chance to take ownership of system optimization, reporting, workflows, and user support.
Key Responsibilities:
– Support the Controller with daily operations and financial reporting
– Prepare and review account reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close activities
– Assist with financial analysis, budgeting, and management reporting
– Analyze financial and operational data for insights and improvements
– Maintain accurate and timely accounting records
– Partner with operations and leadership on various projects
– Optimize and support NetSuite functionality and reporting
Qualifications:
– 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
– Strong grasp of accounting principles and month-end close processes
– Experience supporting senior accounting leadership
– Proficient in Excel and financial analysis
– NetSuite A MUST
– Ability to manage multiple priorities with great attention to detail
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred
